Typhoid Mary: Her Story Online

Between 1900 and 1907, an Irish immigrant cook named Mary infected dozens of New Yorkers with typhoid fever while being asymptomatic herself. Leslie Goddard's lecture comes at a time when viruses pose serious questions about the threats and quandaries of an epidemic.
