An Evening with Ursula Pike In-Person

Read Between the Ravines

Two Communities, One Nonfiction Book

Lake Bluff Public Library and Lake Forest Library are proud to present our fifth annual Read Between the Ravines. This Two Communites, One Nonfiction book program brings together the Lake Bluff and Lake Forest communities with the purpose of enhancing nonfiction literacy and inspiring discussion around real-world issues. Our 2023 selection is An Indian Among Lost Indígenas: A Native Travel Memoir by Ursula Pike.

Join us at the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff History Center for a half hour cocktail reception, followed by compelling conversation between Kim Vigue, Executive Director of the Mitchell Museum and author Ursula Pike, and concluding with a book signing.
